Questions

How long should bridal makeup take?

Many artists allow 60-90 minutes for the bride and 40-60 minutes for each bridesmaid or guest, plus a few minutes between faces. Use the timings you actually work to; the generator uses whatever you enter.

Why is the bride last?

Doing the bride last keeps her makeup freshest for the photos and gives everyone else time to get dressed. If you prefer a different order, list the names in the order you want and untick "Bride last".

How does it handle hair?

If a hair stylist is working alongside you, tick the hair option and add their timings. Each person gets a hair slot and a makeup slot that never overlap, and each stylist and artist gets their own lane. Choose hair first, makeup first, or let the generator pick whichever order gets everyone ready with the latest start.

What is the ready-by buffer?

It is the gap between the last brush and the ceremony: getting dressed, photos, and travel to the ceremony. Ninety minutes is a common starting point if everyone is getting ready on site; allow more if there is a drive.
